Fire The Imagination - Toby Wood Transport Truck
- Description
- Info
Le Toy Van's Toby Wood Transport Truck is a red articulated lorry in two pieces: a three-axle cab with exhaust stacks, a silver grille and L.T.VAN on the bonnet, and a trailer done up as a delivery run for Le Toy Van Cola, with drifting bubbles, a string of gold lights around the edge and the promise of Bubbles of Joy. Toby is No. 33 in the GT Series Car Collection.
Solid FSC certified birch finished in water-based paints, entirely free of plastic. Ten turned beechwood wheels stamped LE TOY VAN carry the whole thing, and the trailer lifts off the cab, so a load can be dropped at one end of the room and the tractor sent back out for the next one.
The GT Series is a run of fifty numbered vehicles that blend heritage car design with British craftsmanship, made to spark nostalgia and start a new generation of collectors. Each one is a limited edition and arrives in its own carbon neutral box with a collectible poster of the full lineup inside, so there is always a next one to track down.
